Yale New Haven Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Externship Program Yale New Haven Hospital offers one and two-week externships for 3rd or 4th year dental students. Externs will work alongside our oral and maxillofacial surgery residents assisting in clinics, operating rooms, and emergency rooms. Externs will also be expected to participate in daily rounds, didactics, and conferences. To be considered, an application must be submitted.
