One week OMFS externship at a full scope program. Externs will have the opportunity to learn in the clinic and operating room and are expected to take one night of trauma call. Externs will have exposure to dentoalveolar and implant surgery, ambulatory anesthesia, management of temporomandibular joint disorders, orthognathic and sleep apnea surgery, management of oral pathology, reconstruction, and management of the craniomaxillofacial trauma patient. We permit one visiting student at a time. Dates are filled on a first-come basis. Please submit your CV and have a faculty member or mentor submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf to our program coordinator.
